Plain English. What we collect, why, and how to tell us to stop.

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Shore Home Exteriors LLC ("we", "us") is an exterior contractor serving coastal Sussex County, Delaware. This page explains what happens to the information you give us through this website, by phone, by text, or through the chat widget.

What we collect

When you submit the estimate request form on this site, use the chat, or call or text us, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your property address
  • Whatever you tell us about the project you have in mind

We collect this because we cannot put an estimate together without it. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank details, or any payment information through this website.

How we use it

  • To contact you about the estimate or work you asked about
  • To schedule, perform and follow up on that work
  • To send you a written estimate
  • To handle permitting for your project, where an application requires the property details you gave us

Text messages

By submitting the form on this site, messaging us in the chat, or texting our business number, you agree to receive text messages from Shore Home Exteriors related to your request. These may include replies from us, appointment confirmations, and updates about your project.

  • Message frequency varies depending on your project.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You'll get one confirmation and then nothing further.
  • Reply HELP for help, or just call us at (302) 291-3896.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We never have and we're not going to. We share it only with the service providers we need to actually run the business — our intake and scheduling software, our phone and text provider, and our email provider — and only so they can deliver that service to us. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Where your project requires a building permit, the permit application we file with the county, town or state office will include the property address and project details — that is what a permit application is.

We'll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and project records for as long as you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterward, because the history of what was done to a house matters — knowing what we installed and when is how we service it properly years later. Tax and accounting records are kept as long as the law requires.

If you'd like us to delete your information, email sales@shorehomeexteriors.com or call us and we'll take care of it, apart from anything we're legally required to retain.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. The estimate request form and chat are provided by our intake software, which stores what you submit so it reaches us.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
